Sophia Liang, Founder & Chief Visual Strategist

As a thought leader in the field of graphic facilitation, Sophia leads our team with an uncanny ability to listen deeply, guide groups, and visualize complicated ideas. With over 15 years of experience in graphic facilitation, graphic recording, and experiential learning design, she thrives by partnering with clients to design conditions for effective conversations and high-level engagement. Nothing is better than when we can clear both the visible and invisible barriers enabling good work to happen.

Sophia regularly teaches visual thinking workshops to put the power of the pen into the hands of her clients and emerging visual practitioners. She believes that when groups are given the power to voice and visualize their own ideas, they have better conversations, and make better decisions. Her work has been featured in Graphic Recording: Live Illustrations for Meetings, Conferences and Workshops and The World of Visual Facilitation.

When I see my clients sit back in their chairs — relaxed, engaged, and interested — that’s when I know we’ve hit a sweet spot. I know that they feel heard, understood, and are optimistic about outcomes.
